Kaycee’s Klasic Films – Titanic

Siobhan Kennedy-Clarke’s classic film reviews

Titanic

Now that’s what I call a classic it’s got all the ingrejents you want in a movie? First of all it’s got Leonardo di Caprio who was quite young in them days but already showing signs of becoming hunky. And it’s got Kate Winslet whose not only English but doesn’t mind being a bit of a larger lady sometimes. Not so much these days but when she started she was quite full bodied at times. I’m not saying she was ever fat just that she wasn’t a stick insect like that Keira Knightley I don’t know what the guys see in her I really don’t.

What Titanic also had was it was based on a true story apparently where a ship hit an iceberg and sank just like in the film.

Anyways you’ve got the love story with Kate and Leo and there’s people being nasty to them you’ve always got people being nasty to the nice people in films it makes you more synthetic towards them.

In this case it’s because she’s posh and he’s not so it’s a bit like Ulrika Jonsson and Stan Collymore he was just a footballer and she was a TV personality but they had it off anyway and didn’t care what people thought.

For those who don’t know the story the Titanic was a big cross Channel ferry only it went from England to America and as I said before it hit something and sank. Must of been cold and a horrible way to die but at least they got a film made about themselves.

Nobodies going to tell my story when I die at least I hope not !!! Wouldn’t be as exciting as this but there’s plenty of action even stuff I never told no one about.

And a classic song too My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion she’s skinny too I wonder whatever happened to her?
